So we decided to do something about it.


Our Nut Butter Bars are intentionally formulated to have little impact on blood sugar. Each bar contains 4-5 grams of net glycemic carbohydrates because foods with 5 or fewer grams of net glycemic carbohydrates have little impact on blood sugar.


The term “net carbs” is often used to help people understand which carbohydrates in food will actually impact blood sugar. There’s no standard way to calculate net carbs, which is why we calculate blood sugar impact using net glycemic carbohydrates. We determine glycemic carbohydrates by subtracting non-glycemic carbohydrates (like fiber and allulose) from the total carbohydrates.
